Group Retirement Cards for Coworkers

Q: What should I write in a retirement card?

Thank them for something specific, share one memory and wish them well in retirement. Sign with your name so they know who wrote it. For ideas, see our retirement wishes and messages, or our retirement wishes for coworkers. Browse all our retirement articles.

Q: What do you write in a retirement card for a coworker?

Keep it warm and about work: something they taught you, a project you shared, and a wish for how they spend their free time. A line or two is plenty when the whole team is signing.

Q: Can I make a funny retirement card?

Yes. Pick a funny design, add retirement GIFs, and keep the jokes about the job, the commute and the meetings, not their age.

Q: When should I start the retirement card?

Start 3 to 4 weeks before the retirement date so everyone has time to sign. Former colleagues may need extra time to see the link.

Q: Can former colleagues sign too?

Yes. The signing link works for anyone, so you can share it company-wide and send it to former colleagues by email or LinkedIn. People who worked with them years ago usually love the chance to sign.

Q: How much does a group retirement card cost?

GreetPool retirement cards are just $4.99 per card with unlimited signers and messages. For HR teams celebrating multiple retirements throughout the year, we offer team plans with bulk discounts. View our pricing page for team options.

Q: Can the retiree print and keep the card?

Yes. Every retirement card downloads as a high-quality printable PDF to frame or add to a memory book, and it stays online as a keepsake.

Q: Can you add a gift card to a group retirement card?

Yes. Add a gift card while building the card so the whole team can contribute from one link. It pools onto a single retirement gift card delivered with the card, and the retiree picks from 300+ brands. See how group gift cards work.

Celebrate a coworker's retirement with a group card the whole team signs online. Add messages, photos and GIFs, then deliver it on their last day or at the retirement party.
